On September 13, 2023, a meeting was held at the Ala-Too International University with Sergey Karpov, head of the UNESCO International Communication Development Program, who is engaged in the development of journalism in Central Asia.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed further close cooperation in the areas of cybersecurity, digital law, strategies for the development of artificial intelligence and digitalization. Within the framework of cooperation, free online courses on journalism in Kyrgyz and Russian will be developed, which will be available to everyone. There will also be joint projects, hackathons and other events.
